UNIV 101 will host a co-curricular speaker series – “UNIV 101 Presents” – during the 2022-2023 academic year. These events are complementary to the course, free of charge, and open to the general public. No Duke affiliation is required to attend.

The Duke Center for Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation presents Racial Healing, Hope, and “The Solidarity Dividend” – featuring renowned mother-daughter duo: Gail Christopher, TRHT movement leader, and Heather McGhee, NY Times Bestselling author of The Sum of Us, in conversation with Charmaine Royal, Duke TRHT Center Director and UNIV101 faculty co-convener. A reception will follow the conversation.

Parking will be available in the Chemistry and Circuit lots on West Campus.
